  4. This guy is extremely stupid and the reason for many tires that kill people.

    If the tire was driven on while flat the side wall plies separate and shred, then when you attempt to fill the tire with air the tire bursts possibly killing the person closest.
    as for repairing a tire that has a punctured side wall, it is absolutely NEVER repairable.

    matter of fact i just repaired a tire on saturday where the owner attempted this, he said he puller out a nail but when i removed the plug there was still more nail left in there that created a second hole. so not only did he waste his time but ended up paying more for the fix.

    as a tire tech that sees the end result of MANY flat tires the best thing you can do is to put on the spare tire and let a trained tire tech remove and inspect the punctured tire before further damage takes place. Your car puts more then just yourself at risk on the road.
