Gallery Of Fine Cars Threatens Beyond.ca
June 19th, 2008They say theres no such thing as bad press, but it has come to our attention that a certain used car dealership in Calgary is tired of dealing with negative publicity. On our forums, our members engage in discussions across a variety of subjects usually centered around the automotive world. One such discussion was one of our member’s experience while shopping for a car at The Gallery of Fine Cars.
In the discussion, several members shared their experiences with others about the dealership much like how other members write restaurant reviews, share health and fitness tips or even help each other fix our cars. Unfortunately for The Gallery of Fine Cars, there were more people posting bad reviews than those posting positive reviews.
The Gallery of Fine Cars did not like that people were sharing their negative experiences with each other and wants Beyond.ca to delete all references to their dealership by June 23, 2008. It really only takes a day to delete a post so I’m not sure why we were given so much time to do it anyway but I digress. The fact is, Beyond.ca is a public discussion forum. We are not in the business of censorship, and will not be removing any messages unless they violates our terms of use or forum rules.
We do, and have in the past however removed posts under court order. These court orders are the results of legal action taken against individual members of the forum as they are written by individual members. Here’s a copy of the e-mail that we received from The Gallery of Fine Cars

Subject: The Gallery of fine cars/legal action against beyond.caTo whom this may concern,
Over the past 2 or so years we have received some very negitive publicity from your website www.beyond.ca. We neither have the time or patience anymore to respond to these very untrue, biased blogs on your website and will be filing a class action suit against www.beyond.ca and any of its owners if The Gallery of fine cars is further mentioned hereforth in its website. We would also like any prior posts, blogs or mentions deleted from your system asap. We have set an appropriate deadline of June 23/2008 for someone to either respond or the above actions to be resolved otherwise we will be dealing with this in a legal manner. Thank you.
Justin Klee/Adriano Aprile
Owners
The Gallery of Fine Cars Inc.
1305 33rd Street NE
Calgary, AB T2E 6S8
In the past we kept our legal adventures behind the scenes but we have decided that if people are going to waste our time then we might as well justify spending the money on lawyers by posting them publically for all of our members to read. We hope this will discourage similar e-mails from showing up in our inbox.
PS: Justin/Adriano, you may want to look up what a class action lawsuit is before threatening Beyond.ca with one.

I can haz spell check?
‘negitive’ LOL
LOL beyond.ca FTMFW
Haven’t they herd that old business saying?
When a customer is satisfied they will tell one or two friends.
But when a customer is NOT satisfied they will tell ALL their friends.
Its just how it is, They just got to deal with it and see it as a call for a UP in their customer service.
Maybe Gallery should spend more money on customer service, or perhaps a dictionary and an education for the “owners”.
I must say. I have had a terrible experience with them, and first posted my experience with the company on Beyond.ca. Like any company, customers should have their say on their experience and should alert potential customers prior to their purchase of new vehicles.
wow.. i must say that the two owners… as they call themselves
probably didn’t learn anything back in post secondary about customer service.
now they want to take their name off beyond.
wow… this is just one of millions of forums out on the internet.
if the posts go down from one they come up on another.
i bet that those two are thinking that by winning or not winning that they are going to be proving a point.
yeah the point is that they don’t know how to treat their clients.
they just see them as a dollar figure and nothing more.
i hope that the two said ” owners ” read this and learn something.
from what the other posts are stating.
but i doubt that they will. life will go on, they will continue to treat clients poorly, and they wouldn’t have learned anything.
your truly
a very unhappy ” NON - DOLLAR FIGURE ” client who recently visited ” the gallary of {extremely used and ok condition} cars”
What i love about the article above is how every mention of “The Gallery of fine cars” has a link to SEPERATE threads from different negative experiences.
How can they call it “biased blogs” when so many people are complaining from their own experiences.
I agree. Do good business and get good publicity. Do crappy business, and get what you deserve. That letter was obviously not written by a professional. Was rather funny to read.
Welcome to the digital world.
Class action??…
Can I get in on this??
HAHAHHAHA….what happen to my freedom of speech? Who are they trying to be? Monster cable? Laughing stock anyone?
Didn’t know that Gallery Of Fine Cars spoke for every other person we gave a bad review to…
I don’t understand how they think they could do that, I mean people do it every day to BBB etc.
I can’t believe this is even happening. What a waste of time for every body.
I wonder if they ever read the Freedom of Speech? Whether or not I talk trash about the Gallery outside of their premise or online here on beyond is nobody’s business. Any dissatisfied customer has the right to express their dissatisfcation however way he/she feels like. As long as they’re not trespassing the premise, there is no law against it otherwise.
class action lawsuit….lol
dammit EK 2.0 beat me to it
Some people have an excellent understand of how the internet works while others don’t.
I wonder if the Gallery of Fine Cars will walk away from this with their tail between their legs early on, or, beyond.ca has another owning that makes headlines everywhere… oh well, another great reason to check back tomorrow.
My uncle bought a BMW 328i for my cousin from Gallery of Fine Cars. Two weeks after he bought it the clutch was finished and it needed a new transmission. He called and made a complaint to which he was told ” we are not responsible for how reckless and irresponsible you drive your car”. Talk about customer service =)
Bahaha I did call MR Klee and told him what I thought of his pathetic threat, Like beyond is a site im proud to be a member of cause eveyone on here watches out for eachother and trys to help other members from getting scamed as well as helping other members get good service ie. I seen many people on here recomend Option Import so I took my car there and asked if they could fix my van and sure enough I got good service and qouted a very reasonable price from a knowledgeable guy!
But come on when theres sooooo many people saying negative things about a company they have to obv have poor coustomer service, and I apperciate fellow beyonders warning me about places like this, And I’ve done the same for others as I was scamed by a transmission shop and have since been warning people to stay away from there and thats far from biase when i was not the only guy @ the shop that day pissed off with the owners!
I wish Gallery Of Shitty Cars Good Luck With There “Class Action Law Suit” That they should have thrown on them for screwing people over!
Dear Justin/Adriano,
If you are worried about what beyonders think of your business this certainly isn’t going to help. I’m not sure I would want to purchase a car from a business where the owners don’t even understand what a class action lawsuit is LOL!
This is the reason i love beyond.ca, people tell it how it is and if you filter through the fanboyisms and general redilculars (you all know why i spelt it that way) it is a great source of discussion.
If The Gallery of Fine Cars doesn’t like what people are saying about The Gallery of Fine Cars, The Gallery of Fine Cars should try living up to their namesake, The Gallery of Fine Cars, with some integrity and honesty.
if they are really concerned, instead of whining about removing posts and threatening with lawsuits, they should’ve posted in the thread and made apologies or clarifications like the rest of the businesses who have gotten bad reviews here. It’s the proffesional thing to do especially on beyond if you are selling cars and some potential buyers are members.
To whom this may concern,
“We neither have the time or patience anymore to respond to these very untrue, biased blogs on your website and will be filing a class action suit against http://www.beyond.ca and any of its owners if The Gallery of fine cars is further mentioned hereforth in its website.”
If you have neither the time or the patience, why are you wasting your time, and the owners of beyond’s time now? How do you plan to sue for damages after a statement like that? Second, a class action lawsuit would be impossible for you to achieve as you are only one party. I think you should go look up what a class action lawsuit is, and how they work, because you can’t file for a class action lawsuit in your case. Not to mention, Alberta in general is not a very class action law suit friendly jurisdiction.
“We would also like any prior posts, blogs or mentions deleted from your system asap.”
When sending a formal letter you don’t use acronyms like asap, you spell it out unless perhaps that is beyond your ability. Second, I would like one million dollars, would you care to provide me with cash to achieve my dream?
“We have set an appropriate deadline of June 23/2008 for someone to either respond or the above actions to be resolved otherwise we will be dealing with this in a legal manner. ”
Well in a way he/she just responded to your email so I guess you won’t be dealing with this in a legal manner. Basically with this sentance all you say he has to do in reponse, aka. pick up the phone and call you, and its all good. Perhaps you should also look up the meaning of OR.
To sum this all up, I don’t see how you feel you have a right to order beyond to remove this content. The law provides safe harbor to search engines and other Web sites, holding them harmless from action unless they are the direct publishers of the content or if they fail to remove it when being told it is copyrighted or otherwise breaks the law.
Nothing like a poorly run business trying to cover its poor service record.
If ‘HotWheelz’ was so successful, why change the name to ‘The Gallery Of Fine Cars’? Maybe it’s time to change the name to something else. Karma …
Class action. That’s ridiculars!
I had a feeling they would see and respond poorly to that thread. Maybe if they didn’t piss so many people off, there wouldn’t be as much negative publicity?
Still - class action… that’s awesome. BIG SMILE. Stuff it boys.
From what I’ve gathered, whoever wrote and authorized that letter needs to go back to school (assuming they’ve been there already). I’ve not the slightest clue what kind of suit they could bring and successfully win. However, The Gallery of Fine Cars does bring up an excellent idea. Why doesn’t everyone on that thread thats had a poor experience with said gallery file a suit against them?
ZING!
this reminds me of the hondata vs. pgmfi.org deal… pgmfi didnt do anything wrong but ended having to shut down because of hondata… that why it’ll be hard to tell who can win this case…
btw: i have a friend (which i wont name) who works there. By jimmy deans? (which i never wanna go to again, lol) and he even says that place is shady as hell and reccomends me NOT to ever buy a car from them
I thought Gallery of Fishy Cars shut down already? … what they still open? … orly? wowza!

Class action?
What do they know bout class? The did not even proof read their threat letter - like that crap would ever come from a real lawyer.
LOL… .. . Class action eh º¿º
lol, isn’t this the same company that was once known as Hot Wheels? It would appear that “The Gallery of Fine Cars” isn’t a fan of free speech, too bad it’s our given right, and we will be allowed to voice our opinions and experiences until the end of free speech, which unless communism has a second coming, will be a very very long time. I shopped around in there when I was looking for a new car, the salespeople were not knowledgeable about the cars, and everything is gussied up with armor all to make it look shiny, it’s too bad a good majority of those cars have become ticking time-bomb pocket robbers. :)
“We neither have the time or patience anymore to respond to these very untrue, biased blogs on your website”
if you don’t have time or patience to respond, then DON’T RESPOND, and if it’s “UNTRUE”, then what is there to worry about? The only time (mostly) people freak out and try to prove themselves is when they know that there’s something that needs to be done.
what’s the purpose of online PUBLIC forums if people can’t speak their minds or their experiences? maybe they should start a forum and have people review the experiences of their customers.. you can’t make everyone happy.
Pretty immature to begin with if you ask me.
What an amusing way to wake up this morning to run through my usual morning routine of breakfast and reading Beyond. I had initially wrote that first post almost a year ago, out of frustration with Gallery Auto. I can only write that if they would just practice positive and “non greasy” business practices imagine the great publicity they could receive through a mainly Calgarian car enthusiast website like Beyond.ca.
I have included a quick search on the definitions of “Class Action” in the legal sense.
What is a Class Action?
Class actions are lawsuits in which the claims of many people, defined as having a common, but not identical interest, are decided in a single court proceeding brought by a representative plaintiff.
Class Action Lawsuit: A class action lawsuit is one filed by one or more people on behalf of themselves and a larger group of people who are facing the same issues.
Scam artists. Plain and Simple
HAHAHA i like how they are getting bashed more becuse u posted this!!! hahah i dont know if that was too smart… but yah gallery blows.
The fact that their threat has blown up in their face is almost as funny as the threat letter itself. When someone hangs up the phone on you or storms out of your sore.. your gonna get a bad review from them. They must have known this before they started their business.
I love letters like that one. You have given the Galler Of Fine Cars more of that ‘great’ publicity Justin/Adriano.. great work. Beyond.ca FTMFW!
I just searched Gallery of Fine cars on Google to check their reputation as I am interested in a car they currently have listed. I came across this post and having read all the helpful posts on beyond.ca, and I am no longer pursuing the sale.
Great to have such sites to protect the consumer.
^ Score one for the good guys!
These jokers at the gallery of fine cars are busch leauge. They don’t even do a car proof on their inventory. Thanks for the heads up, i pulled the shoot on these jagg-offs after reading how crappy they are.
I too had a bad experience at Gallery of Fine Cars. They requested a deposit for a test drive. I put down a $500 deposit and got financing but they sold the car from right under me. Then they daid that they would not refund a deposit. But after refusing to leave and asking them to call the police they finally refunded the $500.
I was in last month to take a look at an Acura which I was interested in. Justin Klee was the salse person and he immidiatly talked to me about purchasing. The car had SUV had very high milage and I was not that impressed. I wanted to take the car for a test drive so Justin requested that another sales guy (Arab/Indian) to do this. This other sales person then asked that I put a $500 deposit on the SUV. When I protested he baked down and then took me on a very short test drive. Justing wanted again to talk about purchasing but then I just left telling him that I need to think about it.
The guys at time could not keep their stories straight, which lead me to believe that something funny was going on so I did not want to have anythihng to do with them.

[...] Please don’t make anything up as we don’t want another car dealership threatening to file a class action lawsuit against us! Did you like this post? Share with [...]
After buying a car from the Gallery of Fine Cars I received a link to this forum and was very shocked. Alot of the things that the users of beyond have mentioned are really harsh. I went in and delt with Justin and I thought he was a good guy. He wasn’t like the typical “sleazy car salesperson” type. He wasn’t persuasive or forcibly trying to sell me something. I was also able to test drive a vehicle without putting down a deposit.
I’m not here to get hated on or start any debate. I had an awesome experience with the Gallery and with Justin specifically. For the people who have not had any experiences with the Gallery, I suggest you go in there and check it out for yourself. Yes there are alot of negative comments left on this site, but it wasn’t like that for me and people should know that so that this forum doesn’t deter them from getting something great.
Everybody has their opinions and you will always be able to find negative criticism about anything you search up on the internet. If all the things you guys are saying is true, then I’m sure they would be out of business by now or they would be sued themselves. Nobody is perfect though and I think some people need to lay off of them on some things like spelling because I’ve seen a few spelling errors on here. This thread is about the way the Gallery handles business and their customer service, if they make a few spelling errors here or there that’s not really fair to chew them out for that. Maybe you had a bad experience but come on guys give them a break you don’t need to tear them up on every single thing.
Tell your experience, leave your advice but it’s not really necessary to call people names and get nasty. Everyone can learn something from this. The cars are beautiful and speak for themselves. The dealership offers a 30 day full warranty, if you got it checked out within a month and noticed something was wrong they will fix it for you. There’s no need to haunt this guy’s business forever with hate. Life’s too short to keep hating.
I think Justin/Adriano wrote that last one!
Gallery of Fine Cars is ran by wanna be gangsta, Ed Hardy wearing chumps! Not to mention the business is funded by shady money and I think Klee’s mommy even helped him out a lil. If you have a bad purchase and you want revenge you can usually find these douche bags hanging out at the BLVD trying to pick up 17 year old girls
I went to high school with Justin Klee and he has been nothing but a surprise every time I hear about him or run into him. First off, the guy is a true idiot. I was shocked SHOCKED to hear he graduated from high school. Which, according to my year book, he didn’t. But he claims to have so who am I to say otherwise? Also, the article refers to post secondary education of the illustrious owners. This one I’ll stake my life on. There does not exist enough parallel universes to accommodate one where Klee was smart enough to get into university. Maybe he snuck into DeVry or something… Somehow he and his buddy, who I can only assume is smarter than him, managed to become owners in a second rate business who’s primary mandate is to screw over their customers. the unfortunate part is every year there is a new batch of idiots who wants to buy a shitty car with shitty rims and a douche bag paint job. This will be enough to keep them in buisness I expect. Maybe one day the world will re-align and Justine will go back to working in a shoe store to support his various drug habits.
Gallery of Fine Cars is a complete sham. They provide poor quality vehicles that have been in accidents. Not to mention the rumor that drugs are being sold out the back. I have had a terrible experience with this outfit and strongly caution anyone thinking of purchasing a vehicle from these shady characters.
It’s known that if a person has a bad experience they will tell 10 people. If a person has a good experience, they might tell one person. I recently bought a car from The Gallery of Fine cars and the experience was good and the deal went smooth. I test drove the car without a deposit and Justin didn’t even want my drivers license. They seemed very nice and professional. They are willing to look at my car if I have any concerns. I’m not sure why people have to resort to name calling and bashing. It’s quite humorous. Clealy their lives are boring!
Well then it would appear I am no longer heading there for my first car purchase…
I have dealt with Justin for several years, and have been treated with fairness and respect on every occasion. The personal attacks you cowards are posting are scurrilous and defamatory (look up the words you don’t understand.)
If you really want to be treated badly go to Calgary BMW, or Hyatt Mercedes or South Centre VW, but of course you wouldn’t, you cant afford it, or qualify for the loan. I HAVE purchased from those pretentious jokers.
Justin and Adrian WILL help you get the loan and not make you feel inferior for not having cash. If you want a used car at a good price you would be an idiot to assume that the vehicle is perfect. NO vehicle new or used is perfect. But somehow if a new BMW needs a replacement transmission when it is 2 months old (actually happened to me) you don’t blame the salesman do you? How about a new VW clutch blowing with only 300kms on the odometer? (actually happened) Wouldn’t you assume that I had abused it somehow?
These personal attacks are slanderous and you know it. That is why you will never identify yourself, you know that you would have a law suit on your hands. Gerry Wawzonek 403-617-2075
‘Class action lawsuit’
Seriously? Wow! lol
Drugs out the back - check it out. It’s well known.
Don’t even think about purchasing a vehicle from this cesspool. Located in the NE and run by hilariously-dressed Ed Hardy guys who can barely string a sentence together, they’ll take your money and run to feed their attempts at becoming bar stars in their thirties.
Gallery, what can I say….. its a shady place. Everything is true the “owners” are drug dealers, and do sell out of the shop, and their dealer friends are always close by. I believe the letter G is used a lot. With no education and customer service it is no surprise this company is getting a bad name. My personal experience was not a good one. From dating strippers, to 17 year old, how can they find the time to work?
Haha It’s nice to see some truth about that uneducated douche Justin come about. This business is a total joke. It’s a front for asian drug dealers. That’s a well known fact. Why anyone would ever consider actually buying a vehicle from Gallery is beyond me - they clearly don’t know. Justin is super well known as being such a hurting douche. He can only get laid from feeding drugs to strippers and escorts and does so in the actual vehicles he sells. I wonder if prospective buyers that check out these cars realize this fact! Wow. It’s only a matter of time before this high school drop out is back to selling shoes and shining mine or simply behind bars where he deserves to be.
My friend did a crimestoppers call on these criminals recently. Hopefully the cops shut them down. They sell a lot of drugs there and everyone between the ages of 16 and 25 know this fact. They are so slimy.
Been there during one of their drug binge photo shoots. Yikes. Stay away. Stay very far away. These addicts are looking to soak your money and try to get girls hooked on drugs to take advantage of them. Gross lowlifes. Especially that skinny druggie Justin.
I can confirm that this guy is a total sleeze bag, Justin. I also knew him in high school and he was famous for his violence and amorality. But what else do you expect from a high school drop out with a low IQ. It’s just unfortunate that more people don’t call crime stoppers or film the place secretly and show the damn video to the cops. People like this should not be walking around in society.
That Justin guy is a big time druggie. Big time sleazeball. You’re crazy if you buy a car from this place.
