The Dangers of a Faulty Hood Latch on a Highway
Recently a Beyonder went through quite a scare while driving on Deerfoot Trail. His hood latch failed and with his vehicle travelling at highway speeds his hood ripped open suddenly smashing into his windshield. Temporarily blinded, he was able to pull over safely to the side of the road to assess the damage. Incidents like this aren’t as rare as you may think, especially if you have a modified vehicle.
Another Day, Another Google Street View Funny
Google Street View is an excellent tool provided on Google Maps offering a street level view of many locales. It is a great way to explore and map out cities you plan on travelling to. Another great use of Street View is to find hilarious scenes captured by the Google camera vehicle used to generate the images. This time it looks like the camera car had a little run in with some wildlife.
A C63 AMG Like No Other
In the land of excess, a C63 just doesn’t cut it anymore. Well, either that or the stigma of driving one of the “lower end” vehicles from Mercedes is too much to handle for the owner of this C63 who decided to add a little bling to his ride by having it dipped in gold. If you can’t beat them, blind them! Check out the pictures in this thread for a crazy ride. FYI, its actually a vinyl wrap job and not gold paint but its still pretty cool to see. Not sure if I’d be able to rock something like that, but hey to each their own!
