Ford is issuing a recall on their F-150s that were produced between 2013-2014. The issue has been identified as a faulty brake master cylinder. Specifically, brake fluid could leak from the brake master cylinder into the brake booster and affect the car’s ability to brake. This particular recall impacts approximately 270,000 vehicles.

So far, nine alleged accidents have been linked to this recall. No injuries have been connected to this issue. Ford will begin to contact customers through their dealerships. If your car is affected, bring it into your dealership where technicians will inspect your braking system and replace the appropriate braking components as needed.
