Callaway is a company that is synonymous with highly modified corvettes. A few years ago, Callaway teased the public with a shooting brake conversion on a corvette. There were no official production plans, and Callaway was simply trying to see if there was even interest in this type of modification to a standard bodied corvette.

Well, 2013 was a long time ago and this design concept really fell off the face of the earth. That is until recently Callaway announced that it will in fact start taking orders for the conversion which is all made out of light weight carbon fiber. Callaway states that the factory hatch will be replaced, but the hinges, seals and latch assembly from the factory will be retained and used in the shooting brake retrofit. The replacement hatch will also be made in carbon fiber. Be sure to keep all your factory body panels as the kit is as easy to fit as it is to remove to convert your station wagon corvette back to the standard body car.

Callaway is starting to take orders for the kit at a price tag of $15,000. For those who are looking for something unique, this kit definitely will offer that up and then some.
